If you are interested in finding a little bit about the sorts of things you can see around the Rowley Fields and Welcombe Hills then come along and join Mike Anderson for an informative stroll on Sunday 26th July. It will be set at beginner level so the less you know the better!
Mike has spent years walking the area and you may well have seen his contributions to our Facebook page where he links his regular blog on what you can see from day to day see – www.whatisawupthehills.blogspot.com
The walks take place at 11am for children aged 10+ (accompanied by an adult) and 2pm for adults only.
Places limited for the first walks so book early to avoid disappointment.
Phone Sonja Dosanjh (event co-ordinator) on 07770747502 to book your place. First come first served. We’ll post further instructions here before the day of the walk.
Note: the walks won’t be arduous but for the adults only you will need to be capable of walking for up to 2 hours on the hills. The children’s walk will involve short distances only but last about an hour.
As it’s a nature walk, no dogs please.
There is no charge, but if you’ve enjoyed yourself and have not yet joined The Friends of Rowley Fields, please consider doing so, your support is greatly appreciated.
